Spring Survival Tips

After scouring all the beauty blogs all over the internet, we have compiled the best of the best spring beauty tips and products! Everything from hair trends, to nails, and makeup.

Hair:
KEEP IT SIMPLE! There are 2 different versions of the same look, either sleek and polished, or textured and both can be rocked for spring.
My personal favorite for the coming heat is loose, textured ponytails, buns and braids. They are so simple, and can give you that finished look without spending hours in front of the mirror. Texturizing sprays help to give hair that “slept on” look.
Don’t forget to get a trim to start off the spring season!

Makeup:
Less is more. With the weather getting warmer, you want to make sure your makeup isn’t too heavy. Your face makeup should contain an SPF of at least 15. Try a tinted moisturizer to give you coverage without the cake. Neutral colors are in for spring. Use a brown eye shadow that is slightly darker than your skin tone to give contrast without heaviness. Brown mascara will give you defined lashes without harshness. Make sure to throw in a pop of color with your blush for a playful, spring look. Smile, and then apply the color on the apple of your cheeks in a swirling motion.

Nails:
Recently I have become obsessed with nail polish. They are a fun way to change up your style, with a pop of color, or a dainty sheer. OPI has come out with a polish that creates a shattered look in everything from black to bright blue. It gives your base color a funky flare. If you are opting for the more muted look, make sure it is high gloss. Pastel colors are great for spring to add a feminine touch like Priti NYC’s September Charm (peachy-pink) polish or Geisha Girl (lavender).
