How To Achieve The Perfect Blowdry

After you leave the salon with your newly treated GLOSS Moderne hair, you’re on your own when it comes to styling at home. The Gloss Lisse keratin smoothing treatment makes the styling process easier by eliminating frizz, enhancing shine, and cutting styling time. But these few tips will help you master the perfect blowout to enhance the smoothing treatment even more.
The Styling Tool: The most important component of the blow dryer is the nozzle, for optimum straight results make sure you attach this hair-saving piece before you start your drying.
Brush: The brush you use to dry your hair plays a key role in determining how much volume and body you will achieve. Choose a round brush of 1 ¾ to 2 ½ for the best results.
Prep-Dry: Before using the round brush and applying maximum heat, make sure your hair is 80% dry first. To do this without creating frizz, pat hair with a towel after exiting the shower, apply a thermal protecting serum, like GLOSS Moderne High-Gloss Serum and then rough dry your hair from roots to ends with the dryer and your fingers.
Style-Dry:  When it’s time to round brush the hair, make sure to divide the hair into sections. Blow-dry your bangs first before doing the rest of the head, to avoid them being too dry and difficult to tame at the end. Always point the nozzle down and start from root to ends to prevent the hair from frizzing.
Last but not least, give your hair a quick blast of cold air to lock in the cuticles and give your hair a little extra shine!
